7th Annual Shatterproof Walk to End Addiction Returns to Chicago’s Lincoln Park on September 26

Community Members, Advocates, and Families Gather at Lincoln Park Grove 2 to Celebrate Recovery, Remember Loved Ones, and Support National Efforts to End the Addiction Crisis

CHICAGO, IL — Community members, advocates, families, and individuals in recovery will gather at Lincoln Park Grove 2 on Saturday, September 26, for the 7th Annual Shatterproof Walk to End Addiction Chicago. Hosted by national non-profit Shatterproof, the annual event brings the disease of addiction into the light, breaks down stigma, and raises crucial funds to support prevention, treatment, and recovery systems across the country.

The morning will feature inspiring speakers, local community resource exhibits, family-friendly activities, and a meaningful 1-mile or 2.2-mile accessible walk through Lincoln Park.
